In this age, we are addicted to not only drugs and booze, but also our cell phones, our sugar and gluten, and our stories, guilt and pain. With so many addictions acting as pitfalls to a life of wellness, path of recovery has been likened to a disciplined awakening to freedom by many. Just as there are myriad addictions to unbind oneself from, there are equally as many different means of embarking on a journey of recovery. Some look to the 12 steps, some look to the discipline of sports, some look for solace and support in community.
