Just ask Ken Nwadike Jr, who spent the summer on tour with Wanderlust, opening hearts and inspiring action in the Speakeasy with each talk he gave. He described his journey from growing up in a homeless shelter to being the chief organizer behind the splashy Hollywood Half Marathon, then to becoming the Free Hugs viral sensation at the Boston Marathon to ultimately becoming his most powerful self on the front lines of conflict, putting his body on the line and letting his Free Hugs shirt say "I come in peace" as he de-escalates protest and creates peace, one conversation at a time.

His message resonated so deeply with our community, taking them from laughter to tears, and he was asked again and again, "What can I do to help? How can I show up in my community like you do? How can I use the resources I have to make a difference?"

These questions are the very core of what Wellspring is all about.

So, in this mainstage address, on the final day of this 3-day summit, Ken is going to talk about the power inherent in our mindful community, and the best ways we can use our collective resources to de-escalate conflict, to create unity where we see division, and to show up en masse as a collective of peaceful warriors.
